B.J. SchoneB.J. Schone started eLearningWeekly.com, writing extensively since 2007. B.J. is a Senior Learning Technology Specialist at Qualcomm Incorporated in San Diego, where he researches emerging learning technologies, develops mobile learning (mLearning) applications, and creates various other learning solutions. B.J. earned his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and his Master’s of Education in Information Science & Learning Technologies (MEd) from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Eric Matas PhotoEric Matas started writing for eLearning Weekly in 2009. In 2010 he and B.J. partnered to work together on the already popular blog. As Managing Editor, Eric writes, manages contributing writers, and plans new features. Originally a writing teacher, Eric now specializes in elearning design and development. He works for a medical device company in Minneapolis where he has implemented a new LMS, created an elearning app for the iPad, and built an audio and video studio for the Global Education and Training team. Eric earned his BA and MA degrees in English at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
